Over the years, as the Church, we have at some point diminished the teaching about the Holy Spirit. Many times we’ve heard, you don’t have to be baptized in the evidence of speaking in tongues.
From my own experience over the years, the Holy Spirit have been the primary source in every area of my life. Jesus sent Him back to help us as believers. Let’s take a look at some scriptures concerning the Holy Spirit, His job, and His importance.
*Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, because they believe not on me. Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.(John 16:7-16)
Jesus want us to come to the place where our total reliance is upon the Holy Spirit. As we see, the scripture teaches us the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into ALL TRUTH.
How many times have you been led by a lie? How many times have you been deceived in various situations and by people?
Do you not know, the Holy Spirit knows all things and the internal part and heart of every man on the face of this earth? He is aware of every situation we face and is going to face.
Also, He already have the answers before we get there.
I don’t believe we want to be deceived. But, listen, we don’t have to if we are relying on the ONE Jesus sent back to us. Also, praying in the Spirit work! Praying in the Spirit builds and edifies the life of the believer.
*But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.(Jude 1:20)
So, don’t be deceived in thinking the Holy Spirit is not important because HE IS!Let’s get back to teaching and learning about the Holy Spirit. WE AS BELIEVERS ARE GOING TO NEED HIM IN THIS HOUR LIKE NEVER BEFORE.TRUST ME!
