Called To Perfection

Kristine Murphy Cucinotta

I called my folks yesterday to touch base to fill them in with our situation, being prayer warriors. My daddy all disheartened more than I was as hard as that is to imagine, of the property we found, that was exactly in my dream, that fell through and we’re unable to finance through our bank, over a couple missing windows. I responded to him, there’s probably more behind it than we can see, have to trust God. He proceeds to tell me, how much he was drawn to it in hopes for us too, to purchase and move into because his sister had sent him a picture of one of her paintings with a small cabin exactly like it just prior to me sending him a picture of it. I don’t know the significance or purpose of this small cabin, but I do know God is showing mine family this cabin too. So, God I pray we stay in your will and listen for your small voice in regards to this small cabin, to wait on you to make known the purpose and meaning behind showing my family and I the same exact thing at the same exact time.

We found different property to go look at in the morning through a different program to possibly finance. A program, not one I have ever heard of, so we are cautious, but not afraid to walk toward be it God’s will. We will definitely be praying God lead our steps whether even to head out to go look at it being an all day and night road trip. It needs major plumbing work and other restoration needs, but thankfully mine husband and I are home improvement people. My momma encourages, who cares what it needs as long as it has a roof and gives you shelter.

Then, I think on the Lord and how he gives us shelter and we live in him regardless of what we need. We aren’t at liberty to judge our brethren and sisters because they live under the covering of Jesus Christ’s blood, regardless of their needs for complete restoration to be made perfect. But that solid cover is all we truly need, being made perfect in love.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Matthew 5:46-48
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
