As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Christ told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”
John 13:27
Don’t get rid of your Judas! You need Judas! A Judas represents God pushing you towards your purpose. A Judas represents spiritual elevation about to take place. The Bible says “ I prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies” ( Psalms 23:5). You need Judas sitting right there at the table God as prepared for you. Your purpose is tied into Judas betrayal against you. The persecution it will bring will propel you into greatness and shift you into purpose. Which is to rise from the dead ( that old way of thinking) and walk in the power of Christ. Christ’s purpose was to die for our sins, so when the time came for Him to be offered up as the ultimate sacrifice, He told Judas not only to betray Him, but to do it quickly!
We always want to run from our Judas, or pray that he will stop attacking us and have a change of heart, and I’m not saying don’t do that, continue to pray for your enemies. But there is nothing new underneath the sun, your Judas has to fulfill his mandate to betray you. Why? Because like Christ, you’re being ushered into another level of spiritual greatness and power. The Bible says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” ( Matthew 5:10).
1 Peter 4:12-14 says “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you”.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”
Matthew 5:10
Your Judas is confirmation that you’re about to have a major spiritual breakthrough. It’s time to power up, face the music and walk into the persecution knowing that you’re going to come out on the other side without stain nor spot. Stop running from the betrayal and tell your Judas to DO IT QUICKLY!
RUN WELL!
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you”.
1 Peter 4:12-14
