How many times have you’ve been seeking the Lord for answers and found yourself being bombarded by distractions?Well, if we’re honest, all of us has at some point. And some of us are now. But I have good news. YOU CAN OVERCOME IT!
God has given us His arensal to overcome everything that comes out way. These are tools I have mentioned before and will mention again. Why? Because it is necessary. Especially in the hour we are living in now.
As the beginning of the year approached, the Lord told me this will be a time to operate with a greater wisdom, insight, revelation, and strategy. Strategy is necessary in this hour to be able to outwit and overcome the enemy. In other words, we are going to have to be prudent. As I have told others of the faith. We must learn how not to tell everything publicly. Too much is being made publicly known and usually it bring on unnecessary warfare to the believer. Understand, social media outlets are good tools to minister. But not for personal sharing. We don’t understand that children are and have been abducted due to what is exposed on social media, unfortunately by the parents. Sex trafficking and human trafficking is at an all-time high. Not only that, but other things as well is greatly on the rise.
Now, let’s get back to sharing the tools God has given us.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Also, this hour will require much praying and fasting. Let’s also be reminded to acknowledge the Lord in all of our ways. Unfortunately, way too often we leave the Lord out of many areas of our lives, leaving the door open for the enemy to get in. And like the older saints would say, “Once the devil get it, it’s hard to get him out.” Of course, we have power over the enemy. But, why go through all that unnecessary warfare if we don’t have to?
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5;6)
Neither give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:27)
So, one again, let’s use wisdom in this hour and allow the Lord to lead and guide us every step of the way.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.(James 1:5)
