I fall silent when not being heard
When you argue and twist my every word
Always have me under your microscope
Always assume the worst never hope
I pray you get your focus off of me
Focus on what you are to do in God Almighty
You sit around waiting for me to tell you what to do
Instead of rise up and do what you’re suppose to
Nothing gets done making yet another excuse
Rather than be held accountable to God, you still refuse
You are suppose to lead yet still wait for me
To tell you what to do, God calls it sluggard, I call it lazy
Another way to hide from God, disobedient to what He has called you to
Another way to blame me when you don’t do
I have nothing to say but wait quietly on the Lord
And pray He puts a fire under your bum to move you forward
Until then I stay silent, so maybe you hear God’s voice
That all of your decisions are solely your choice
No one can prevent you from what you are responsible for
Only you can prevent you, so stop looking at me and take a look in the mirror
