In this hour, I believe it’s the greatest hour we have ever lived as born again believers. Yet, it is the most dangerous hour.I do I say dangerous? Because of the things we see that are taking place around us. Understand, God does not want us to be deceived.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.(2 Corinthians 2:11)That’s right, God doesn’t want us to be ignorant of the enemies device. The only way we will be able to stand in the victory that has already been given to us is to rely on the Holy Spirit. Remember, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He lead and guide us into all truth. No matter what it is, He will reveal it. If we desire Him to do so.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5;6) Trusting totally in the Lord and acknowledging Him first, allow Him to direct our paths so we will not be led into the wrong direction. Although, we may not understand why He is leading us a certain way at times, we must understand that it is for our good and not to harm us.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Romans 8:28) It is the love of God that keep us protected and safe from all harm and danger. Let’s look at a familiar passage in its entirety of how God takes care of us if we take refuge in Him.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. (Psalms 91:1-16)
So, you see? We have absolutely nothing to worry about when we place our trust in the Lord. Again, He will keep us all deception and protect us from the wiles of the devil. SO GIRD UP! (Ephesians 6:10-18)
