It’s the days your wife doesn’t feel like holding hands
Are the times you get to show her your covenant stands
It’s the days your husband is short tempered and had enough
Are the times you get to show him unconditional love
It’s the days she just wants to be left alone
Are the times your fruit of the Spirit are shown
It’s the days he does less than he usually does
Are the times you get to be wise as a serpent and harmless as doves
It’s the days she fails and falls short
Are the times you cover her, hidden from the LORD’S court
It’s the days he is tempted, letting the enemy in
Are the times you get to give mercy and forgive him
It’s the days she just can’t be understood
Are the times you get to live out servanthood
It’s the days he is distant, far apart
Are the times with peace you sanctify his heart
It’s the days she is bitter and cold
Are the times you sanctify her with peace 10fold
It’s the days he loses everything he worked so hard for
Are the times you assure him, God has something so much better
It’s the days she falls ill, incapable to do much
Are the times you get to lay your hand on her head with a healing touch
It’s the days he screws up so bad, he just wants to die
Are the times you get to sweat drops like blood to shout out your battle cry
There’s nothing we have to experience, God doesn’t already know
Led by Fire in the night, in the day a cloud to show
It’s the days and are the times, we both have to endure
To love each other in the same ways of our Lord & Savior
How can one forgive, less another needs forgiven
How can one be perfect if they haven’t the opportunity to let love win
Exodus 13:21
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
Psalm 136

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:
11 And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:
12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.
13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.
16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.
17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
18 And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:
20 And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:
21 And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:
22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
