To sit with God and be still,
Embracing his love, what a fill!
Not doing a thing, just one on one,
No distractions, undivided attention.
To not think, worry nor wonder,
Just grow closer, heart beats like thunder.
At peace, all secure, comforted,
An intimacy rightly fitted.
A feeling, a sound, a taste so divine,
To be in oneness, I am his and he is mine.
Accepted with affirmation flowing effervescently,
A mind, body and soul thriving abundantly.
A fire burning deep within,
Totally separated amd covered from sin.
Just holy, righteous and pure,
Nothing else worth living for.
Once in God’s presence, nothing else compares,
Wheat separated from the tares.
The time is quickly approaching, harvest is near,
Seek to be in his presence my beloved dear.
There’s not a love you’ll find that is so complete,
Seek to be in his presence tonight and your sleep will be sweet.
