Leader’s Challenge

First, I must thank the men of this ministry for making the time to solely dedicate to teaching God’s word on the role of a woman. It is hard to teach her role without the teaching of man’s role being she was made from man.

Yet, we all as individuals will be held accountable. Not all women will marry before the ultimate wedding with our Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ. So, it is vital us as women study, research and seek God daily what he has called us to do. Know our worth in Christ, we are not of this world, we have been set apart. I was blessed with a season of singleness to do such digging, studying and research day and night, so if you are single, you must know, you have been given an appointed and precious time to do so as well and it will be worth every nugget discovered and received.

Like mine husband shared on his video men usually reprove and edify the men and women do the same with other women as that is what God’s Word instructs us to do. On the other hand, rarely do we hear the men of the body of Christ teach the women, which God also instructs of us to do, so it was a delight for mine ears to hear and eyes to see these men do so.

I pray these men and other men as well see the importance to continue to teach us God’s word in regards to what women are called to do. This challenge was to encourage them with courage and confidence in the LORD to do so as well as be an example to other men to be encouraged to do so, yet I was included in the challenge and also accepted.

You’re not going to like it, the flesh will argue, you might even get defensive. I did at first on each matter I will share about. But, in all seriousness are we to become Christlike and if we are serious, it will determine our heart’s willingness to come out of the world to live and walk in the Spirit. That’s our battle day and night flesh vs Spirit of God. In reading this series, refrain from saying, only God can judge me, because it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Knowing God can judge us should “scare the hell out of us ” in how we live our lives and carry ourselves.

We still have shortcomings but God is a merciful God and will complete the good work he started in us. You will feel the heat, but note this heat is a good heat, it’s a conviction of God to hear him with a contrite heart making us more like him. God calls us to “Level Up”. Advance, grow and experience a closer relationship with him throughout our lives. Maturing the ever so more day by day, season through season. God is a consuming fire. He is the Potter we are the clay. We are a branch and He is the Vinedresser. We are sheep and He is Our Great Shepherd. We are daughters of royalty of Melchizedek; High Priest and High King.

I pray all who read this “Woman of Modesty” series do so with an open mind and heart with a teachable spirit. To take this series with seriousness to be searched out in the matter by God alone. To work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. To be encouraged of your worth in Christ rather than holding a tight grip onto the false things the world has taught us to do and be, giving us a false hope and false security . To be able to step out in faith to please and desire God more than our own comforts. To research origins and study to show thyself approved unto God. This is the whole matter of every believer in Jesus Christ. To be sought out, renewed and restored as a Holy Nation. Let us be of a humble spirit and may God move mightily making us that much more like him everyday, in Jesus name it is so.

Woman of Modesty
Part 1
By:Spitfire Kristine

God has specified us women certain instruction in the way we are to live and carry ourselves to represent who he is and his kingdom.

Women growing up in this world not given these specific guidelines to follow are taught by the world, the complete opposite of what God said. Or, in fact fall into the peer pressure or temptations through media and other people who simply live in the flesh. But, we have been called and set apart to live in the Spirit of God.

Women are the target and for very good reason, we are the weaker vessel and if the enemy can get to us, we can be used to exploit the flesh in an amplified level to cause ourselves and others to sin. This is a serious matter to God. And, we will be held accountable.

The serpent came to Eve first. And he is still coming to women first even today. Every aspect of God’s holy guideline for a woman to be modest is corrupted and spread like a disease in advertising and entertainment.

These are God’s guidelines for a woman to dress modestly. Iron sharpens Iron and even professing Christian women do not take God’s word seriously in this matter. They brush it aside, call it good and continue down the broad way.

They also make excuses, saying their husbands like them dressing “sexy”, it pleases him so it’s okay as to flip their hair back in God’s face and keep on rebelling. And, in the meanwhile continuing to feed their husbands with the lust of the eyes, that keeps or tempts their eyes to wander. By doing so we are telling our husbands it is okay to lust and enable them all the while, rather than encourage them to love us for our worth in Christ. It’s a double edge sword ladies of the LORD. It will cut, but we are called to live in Modesty by holiness, purity and truth.

As a woman, I am sharing the truth that it is not okay to adorn ourselves any ole way and call it good.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

It is flat out disobedience to God. And, by such rebellion we invite more troubles in our life, relationships and to others around us.

We all know how we present ourselves can be used as a great tool for pride, power and pleasure, all the “P’s” of the prince of the power of the air. But, this is not how a daughter of The King walks nor talks.

Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

But, now we know and now we know we are being held accountable. We are to trust and obey.

1 Timothy 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

God has set us apart to display modesty and meekness to shine His light and we can’t shine truth when we cover ourselves with jewelry, makeup, hair dyes, flashy, revealing the flesh articles of material.

This is living in a falsehood in the flesh and not who we truly are. Also, these traditions of ways to adorn were and still are for worshipping other gods, most of women’s apparel was specifically originally designed to know who was a servant or worker of the flesh aka prostitution. Yes, we can argue “but I’m not a prostitute” but we must not dress like one either. Do some research, in all you do look for the origin of the matter.

Most women today don’t know their worth in Christ to be confident and content with who they are and their purpose and high calling. And hence, are blinded to hide behind lies rather than shine in truth.

Most women desire to attract others, even their own spouse to be served or praised by their own doing rather than be approachable to serve and praise others even their spouse by God’s doing.

Shamefacedness
The greek definition of “shamefacedness” is “reverence, honor”.

We don’t honor or give reverence to God by painting our faces, change the color of our hair or dress in apparel God said not to. We don’t need to do these things to be and feel and know we are beautiful. Nor, do we need to try and please and keep our husbands by bringing God dishonor by altering our body,; His chosen vessel. God created beauty and that beauty is inside of you. Your hidden treasure for one man to cherish all of your days.

The face is the first place we need to start. Does God tell us what to do with our face? Absolutely!

Matthew 6:17
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

We should be coming to God day and night readying ourselves before we leave the house by washing our faces and anointing our heads, not by painting them as to serve other gods and dim the light of the One True God.

We need to seriously consider the way we are to adorn to bring God glory and to be able to decrease and allow God to increase to shine His light upon our face.

It’s not easy at first to change and do right by God and His word. I struggled hard to not dye my hair. I wasn’t happy with that white hair. It was much of a shock being I had dark black hair. It took a few years battling this mindset to be in all humility and accept this contrasted change. Finally, by God and his Word, I was encouraged, white hair is my crown of glory. A crown I get to wear now to represent God and his kingdom, so I accepted this crown God gave me and owned it. I wear my crown with great honor to Him who gave it to me.

Make up never did much for me though, I did get in with the crowd at times. And, I think back and it was to parade around and be highminded. That one wasn’t too hard to put away. Make up is a lie straight out of hell. It’s not what our faces truly look like, we become deceivers. Not presenting ourselves truthfully. We don’t need to hide anything. We are daughters of Light and Truth. Living and Teaching The Blood of Jesus that covers our sin and makes us pure, without blemish. No make up or surgery can do that.

Colossians 3:9
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds

The face is where God shines the greatest. (Exodus 34:29-35) We can not shine the truth of God’s light and grace when our faces are painted with makeup.

Numbers 6:25
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
