Marriage is never complicated, either one or both are in sin. And need of repentance and forgiveness, that grace but if one walk away, let that one go, we are called to peace.
All I know is I been inside and out of these verses of marriage, divorce and remarriage and yet, after mine current husband and I both been married and divorced 3 dang times due to our ex’s divorcing us and leaving us, God said he would give me to a God fearing man and we would minister to other married couples.
It don’t matter what people even mine husband and I think nor say. It’s what God said and we and our now true covenant marriage between us and God has been put through the fire, tempted and yet even through separations to get right ourselves between God, we now know what was in our past, is not now.
We have matured in faith and obedient with fear of the LORD what MERCY, grace AND LOVE that covers all sin over us by the blood of Jesus Christ, we are to do the same for each other no matter what and refuse to divorce.
It’s all about that new covenant and though neither mine husband and I deserve to be married a 4th time, this is what God ordained and anointed and appointed to bring him glory.
You ain’t gotta like Christ, you ain’t gotta believe Christ nor do you gotta receive Christ but you can never deny Christ, every knee shall bow.
No, neither one of us are pleased how things have gone up until our union together, but it’s not about us, nor us being pleased, it’s about pleasing God.
Ain’t nothing but death will come between us and we definitely been in just about every scenario and painstaking heart wrenching disappointment and hurt from the other in each other’s short coming or stumble or fall.
Still we are one, covered in the blood of Jesus and not one can change that, not even a sin. And we been in some dangerous and life threatening situations, we separated countless times for safety and getting our hearts right.
Ain’t no one can tell me the worse things that can happen in marriage are so bad there can’t be forgiveness and reconciliation. Jesus Christ does it daily for each of our own personal relationships with him. No, it’s not a license to sin but a patience in perfection to love unconditionally.
We are called to be perfect like him and that is us as saints being perfect to love one another like Christ loves the church.
Tread lightly when you hold up law to the fulfillment of the law who became flesh to die for our sins, what we are called to do. Not just carry our cross, but die on it too.
Even when both mine husband and I have failed each other and failed God, He never fails and he has never failed us. God is that main strand in our Three Cord Covenant.
Look at Paul, who killed Christians and became head Apostle and leader of all. Ain’t no murderer going to heaven either, but Amazing Grace saved a wretch like Paul, mine husband and I and we gonna preach no matter our past or history because God chose us, many are called few are chosen. You better preach.
Matthew 5:43-48
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
1 Corinthians 13:7-8
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
