Kristine Cucinotta Murphy
My gift is from God for sure. Words are my kryptonite. I stumble and struggle with not only speaking them but also knowing the meaning of them.
When I was a little girl, I would ask my daddy what a word would mean and he always told me go look it up. Of course, I never did. I know now he meant well, but at the time it hurt my feelings my daddy wouldn’t help me and I walked off sulking each time.
I failed 9th grade English twice, and dropped out of school. People, who know this about me and close to me, use this against me to raise themselves up and/or make a joke at my expense. But that’s okay, God is greater.
And, He had me write and self-publish 4 Scripture based books; two being poetry of struggles in my life. I have had the honor to write and encourage others by my God given gift to speak in words and prayer through typing in several groups that God led me to establishe and after they reached their mature stage, I had to hand over the reins. It was hard to let each group go, but I knew God was leading me to do something else with my gift.
Hold on to nothing tight, and not even people. Don’t let people; what you love about them and even what you can’t stand about them, especially, including yourself, prevent you from your God given gift and high calling. Not even, a spouse. It doesn’t matter to God how close a man and woman can get, He is a jealous God. Exercise and use your gift, that is why you are here today to shine the light of truth. GOD FIRST!
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
God is always on the move and He directs our feet. And, not to leave out God has me currently writing for this awesome ministry. I did go back and get my high school diploma 5 years after I was suppose to graduate. Another 5 years later, I did go to college for a year and was a substitute teacher for 5 years. That’s all God.
They can laugh, mock, tease, hate, but God’s gift and promise to you, they can never take. God is on the move, we suffter for his namesake!
You were called to SHINE! Let God’s Fire in You BURN BRIGHT! SELAH.
Gifts are generally easy to know what they are; they are usually your greatest weakness, so God can show his strength. Or, you just do it and don’t know how, never studied, practiced nor learned how, it just happens and it amazes yourself and or others. If you don’t know your God given gift today, pray. Because there is nothing more important in our individual lives than to use that holy gift to be able to shine the brightest what God has us to do to show the world just how mighty, powerful, loving and gracious HE IS:
I AM THAT I AM
