Negativity and doubt are the thoughts that make our lives complete darkness.
Ephesians 5:8 – For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
We are now of light! We shine positivity and faith.
Psalm 78:6 – That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
Once upon a time there was a little girl. She saw something she absolutely desired to have. She was very short and could not reach it. She stacked up boxes and in her attempt to climb them, she fell straight to the bottom.
But, she still had that drive and thrived to reach what sparkled in her eye. She didn’t get mad at those boxes, nor did they stop her from another attempt.
She tried many things to reach what she knew was good. Everything that failed her to assist her efforts caused her bumps and bruises. Sometimes so severe, she had to let her body heal a time before the next go at it.
This good she saw and had to have fueled her burning desire to keep at it. She didn’t become bitter, doubtful nor the thought to give up. She didn’t blame others nor get mad at those who walked by her and didn’t even ask her if she needed help.
And, those she did ask for help, they either refused to help or some people made things harder and worse for her to get to it. Others told her she didn’t need it nor was she supposed to have it. Many told her she would fail and few came by to try to make her fail.
Matthew 18:6 – But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
But, she didn’t let any of that touch her hope and desire to reach it. No one else saw the good she saw, yet that didn’t stop her either. That which she desired, was that good!
She stayed positive and had faith, she will reach it. Years later, she didn’t grow much taller, but she became strong and focused to reach this good thing. She gained knowledge, wisdom and much understanding. Every failure and loss became a gain to her success.
Finally, one day she reached her goal. It was a crystal dish that her deceased Godmother left on the highest shelf of the cabinets in the kitchen. It was filled with hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
Matthew 18:3 – And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
This wasn’t just her goal to reach and gain possession of, but to pass out every hundred dollar bill jammed in that beautiful crystal dish to everyone she knew and even those she didn’t know. And, she did!
She shined and sparkled greater than that crystal dish to everyone she handed a hundred dollar bill to and not just when she reached it, but during the years of her persevering to reach it.
James 2:17 – Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Not only that, she told each person, “That good thing that put the sparkle in mine eye was a goal and desire put there for me to reach to bless you with, thank and praise God.” And, they did! One little boy took his hundred dollar bill and put it in a mason jar on the top of his shelf of toys.
Psalms 8:2 – Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
The negativity people say or doubting things they do, those circumstances we find ourselves in, remember every weapon that forms against us, we have every protection and right to not let any of it touch us.
Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
We focus on what is righteous and good. Our goals, our dreams, our hopes and desires are untouchable with the full armor of God.
Ephesians 6:17-24 – 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
