Proverbs 16:3 – Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Being Kingdom minded in conversations with others, we must be armored up in the full armor of God in all readiness to not take things personally as in a way to get defensive or take immediate blame.
It’s vital to our witnessing and testifying that we are of righteousness and holiness, living and speaking all truth.
Communications can and has caused many of us to be caught off guard and lower our shield of faith, allowing things people say to reach our very heart that will cause us to put all responsibility on ourselves or even get defensive.
Exodus 14:13-14 – 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
It is a good thing to seek God to seek us, to see if there is any wicked way in us. But, not to please others and take the blame for things we have not done.
Galatians 1:10 – For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
If we have not been called out specifically, we should never take such burden upon ourselves. Or, we will find ourselves caught living in a lie and not truth, to please others rather than to please God.
Proverbs 29:25 – The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
To blame oneself in all innocency is to tell a lie that disrespects no only oneself but God himself, for this is not living in the Truth we are called to live in.
It’s pretty common for someone to always blame themselves. And, this needs to be addressed and corrected for the Kingdom of God to live in all truth.
Proverbs 4:23 – Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
We must break this bad habit. It will take being attentive and might take some time, but until someone says we done something specifically, don’t ever take it upon ourselves, hold tight to our crown, 👑 give it up for no one!!!
Isaiah 55:8 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
Being Kingdom minded pleases God, not people. We must always stand in truth. Lie for no one. When we start to lie for others taking the blame we open the door of disrespect. Disrespect is the very start of abuse. God hates abuse!
Psalm 11:5 – The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
1 Corinthians 1:10 – Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
We must wear our helmet of salvation to speak by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Let our yea be yea and nay be nay. Few Words.
Matthew 5:37 – But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Proverbs 17:27 – He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Be wise living in all truth is being a rare jewel. We definitely must keep ourselves reminded not to assume things are about us to fall into the instant thought that leads to a lie to blame ourselves to be a people pleaser. Let us be reminded not to and be reminded WHOSE we are. Let no one disrespect you, not even yourself. Mere vessel.
Acts 9:15 – But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
I remember someone telling me one time, to take blame for something we didn’t do is the same as lying. I know we would die for anyone, but lying is the wrong death to die. Keep alert. We are to be and walk in truth always.
Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
