Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Many times when we are in the midst of a storm (having problems) and overwhelmed we tend to make decisions based on our weariness and that can hinder us spiritually if we are not careful. The Bible says to be anxious for nothing because the Holy Spirit knows when you are anxious you do not have a sound mind to hear the small still voice of God.
We are instructed to “ Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! ( Psalms 37:7). The Lord tells us that we will last longer and sustain over the man who carries out evil deeds to get things done his own way. “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
Sometimes in our misunderstanding of what the Lord is doing, we can find ourselves feeling lonely, cast down, and left out. Watching people whom you know do not have a strong relationship with God the way we do prosper by doing evil deeds can sometimes bring jealousy or anger towards them and even God. It is important to “be angry but sin not” – Ezekiel 4:26.
But God wants to remind you that you are chosen. And chosen people are held accountable because they bear the name (character/spirit) of God. Revelation 3:19 says,” Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.” God corrects and Disciplines his children because he wants them to have a heart of flesh so they can serve him.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land (reap the inheritance) I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness(sins). I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe (despise, to come into repentance) yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign LORD. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel! ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it.”
God wants us to have a heart of flesh (a heart to hear and understanding his voice) so we can be restored from the things we have brought upon ourselves due to our ignorance of the Word of God. He promises no lack or limitation because “The Lord makes Rich, and adds no sorrow to it”. -proverbs 10:22
1 John 2:16 says “For everything in the world-thee lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–comes not from the Father but from the world.”
Meaning if we are tempted to do what is wrong to satisfy our flesh (desires of this world) that means we are moving in a spirit of leviathan (pride). Pride says, “I’m not going to wait on the Lord, I’m going to create a situation so I can prosper just as those who commit evil deeds do”. This is why you cannot allow Leviathan (pride) to penetrate your thinking when you are under a spirit of anxiousness. Hence “ don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” – Philippians 4:6. The Bible says For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.- psalms 84:11. If only we “seek first His (God-Yahweh) kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us. Matthew 6:33. God promises hay we will give us all we need if we walk upright and follow his commandments (commands/ orders).
Many saints are honest even in their downfalls and difficulties and the thought of doing something dishonest or illegal doesn’t even cross their minds, but instead, they die internally overwhelmed with depression and feeling hopeless about their situation. This too is a device of the enemy. If Satan can keep your mind in bondage about your problems, you will never have the faith of a mustard seed to move the mountain (problem) out of your way. Depression is a demon and fear is a liar. The Bible says, “Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” – Jeremiah 32:17 But Yeshua (Jesus) looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26. We must remember the word of our Lord and savior and do lot fall victim to the grip of the enemy’s mental playground.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4. In order to persevere, you must have patience (long-suffering). God promises success in Him and His Kingdom is we remain patient through the trials and tribulations of this life. Our patience is literally teaching us how to respond spiritually and instead of reacting in our flesh. Creating mental stability and self-control. Patience is the key you breaking down the strength of your flesh so your spirit can be “sober-minded and alert”- in full control.
I know many of you are in a trying time due to this the current global pandemic. Even though the sickness is passing many people are left without jobs, finances, food, or security. But I encourage you to remember the voice of your God who sits high and looks low. He is the same God who feeds the birds every day, so you do not need to worry when you will eat.
So then let us go forth “and let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” -Galatians 6:9
Keep running well.
Ps Patience my dear, it’s coming.
