Living in a camper has brought us to a much closer view of people and their needs.
There’s two caterogies of people we have found in listing to sell our camper to get a down payment to buy property.
There are those just looking to add to all they already have for a way of entertainment to just “go camping”.
And then, there are those who are really in need. And, those numbers are far greater than ever before.
People like you and me that lost everything they had: from house fires, to financial loss, to being put out or leaving everything behind, serious health issues, to death in the family.
These are real people with a soul that are hurting, with no one to help them. They know the struggle is real, to have even little faith and a whisper of courage to press on and not give up hope.
A majority of these people know God and even say, “It could of been worse”, and yet they are tired.
Exhausted and sore seeking a way to just have a roof over their heads.
It has been nothing short of a privilege and honor by and for God to be able to pray with these people.
Our hearts are torn, wanting to do more for all those we come across. We can only do so much.
Yet, after each prayer, their responses of “Thank you so much”, ‘I needed that”, a moment of relief being reminded God does care, he is with them and loves them, knowing they can still rest in him, is priceless and is worth the suffering through this entire adventure.
We all can get so misled from our calling and purpose as we did. We were questioning how we could minister and pray for people at the beginning of this, being we stay to ourselves for the most part. Though, when we were out and about we had our eyes wide open for all of God’s divine appointments, showing up to each one. We knew we could do more, but didn’t know how.
After awhile getting caught up in our own personal issues, we were being chased out of every spot we could find to just park long enough for mine husband to work and moving several times there after in a 24hr day.
Extremely exhausted, we decided to sell this camper to get a down payment to buy property for a place of relief and especially to use the property to be a relief to others we so desire to help.
Yet, in each hour and each conversation or showing of our camper, God is blessing us all with relief by prayer to go to him for comfort, healing, rest and strength to endure to the end. Perfect peace.
God doesn’t take all of our troubles away to give us what we think we need at the time. He allows us to have troubles to remind us or show us, he is all we need.
Everything in this life is temporary, but God and our very souls. He is permanent! Who was and is and is to come.
If anyone is tired, and in need of rest. If anyone is sore in need of healing. If anyone is beyond exhausted in need of strength, call on Jesus.
He truly is all you need and he will give you rest, healing and strength and he doesn’t change your situation to do it, so you know it’s not the situation that brings you love, joy and peace but a relationship with Jesus Christ does. Not my promise, God’s promise!
Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
If anyone needs help in being led in prayer or even just an agreement of prayer message us or comment. We will help, but all you truly need is to seek him with all of your heart and ask him to come and live in your heart. Give your heart what it truly needs, to be back in the hands of the One who created you, to fill you with all you need. Your first love.
Revelation 2:4-5
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
I look up to the hills,
–Psalm 121
but where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.”
