Stop self sabotaging, you belong at the table. Many times our lack of self worth, confidence and spiritual identity gets in the way of the opportunities God presences us with. We end up speaking poorly of ourselves and negatively into the atmosphere causing us to miss the opportunity because we don’t even try. ”the woe is me” is hindering your growth. Titus 1:15 says, To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.” A corrupted mind self sabotages, and many times it is a spirit of manipulation where ppl play undiscerning and broken so they go unnoticed as they take advantage of you. That’s why we need to be consecrated and be alert even in our attempt to cater to others.
Use a moment to think of all the times you didn’t move on an opportunity because you were afraid. Perhaps it was that promotion at yo job that you didn’t apply for, or a moment to reconcile with an old enemy but you were afraid of how they would perceive you. What ever it is, there was a moment to advance and excel in the kingdom but self sabotage (fear) told you not to move forward.
God wants us to be in a place where we move on love. That means when the opportunity to do right or to advance in humility and honesty presents itself, we move on love and except the challenge. James 4:17 says “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” And Ephesians 1:11 says, In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,”. Meaning, apply for the promotion, and reconcile with that old enemy!!!! The opportunity for God’s trust is in passing the tests when they’re presented to you in the form of denying yourself.
Stop beating yourself up mentally! Out of the mouth flows the abundance of the heart. –Matthew 15:18, if you’re thinking it, you’re speaking it. Philippians 4:8 says, Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” God has told you what to think about and Luke 10:18 says, Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” Now you know your identity in Christ gives you power and authority above the enemy (self sabotaging thoughts, fear ect.) it’s time to take what you have learned and use it to prosper the condition of your spiritual mind and physical life. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Proverbs 23:7, so then speak, be, think, act and move as if you belong at the table! The woe is me is up, walk in power.
