That Cover & Filter

Most all of us have seen the picture of the umbrellas covering from God all the way down to children in a covenant marriage and family. But, how many recognize and submit to the order in which all things go up from a child to God?

As much as that umbrella cover is to go down, is as much as the order in which all other things go up!

It’s like the cycle of rain. It must go through purification when it evaporates up to come down pure again to drink and have life.

Look at the things that go up as having to go through a filter. A filter is to block out debris. A filter purifies to bring something to it’s cleanest, finest and strongest effect without all of the infirmities.

A child’s upset, or desires something, more times than none will go to their mother first. With hope, their mother’s effect and soft touch to petition it to their father in a way they couldn’t. Knowing their mother is their father’s soft spot, the closest to his heart.

A mother will filter her child’s cry and spruce it up and present it in a way her child is not able to her husband.

The husband does the same for his wife. All of her spoken upset, or desires something, she more times than none goes to her husband first. With hope her husband’s effect and soft touch to petition it to their Father in Heaven in a way she couldn’t. Knowing her husband is their Father’s soft spot, the closest to his heart by Jesus Christ’s blood.

If a husband, or wife is out of order, yet one of them remain in Christ, God will hear their cry. That is the double cover (over wife) and triple cover (over child) blessing in Christ. It doesn’t eliminate the pains of troubles but it will birth grace if you carry through to full term.

Tainted and destructive we become to fall into sin and out of God’s order, when we take our upsets and desires down to the one below us rather than up. Blocking the flow, putting a demand and weight on the weaker vessel not able to comply or give you your needs.

A husband speaking his upset and desires to his wife puts her in a position she is not equipped to handle nor deliver. Same as a mother crying her woes and desires to her child. Helpless, “I can’t help you”, a child cries desiring to but not able, added stresses and torment put on a child.

Passing down our upsets and desires on the one below us in God’s Divine order causes chaos, confusion, abuse, unrealistic expectations and a ticket on a fast train to derail in the wreckage of disorder, disobedience and ultimately death.

1 Corinthians 14:40 – Let all things be done decently and in order.

Psalms 37:23 – The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

1 Corinthians 12:12 – For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

Matthew 10:24-33
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
