Many times in our lives we face difficult situations. Sometimes it can be during a sickness, lost of a love one, or maybe losing of a job. Whatever the difficulty is, we have been given the encouragement that we can trust God. We can look to Him for the strength we need to bring us through.
HOW CAN WE DO THIS?
Through the precious Holy Spirit. The scripture teaches us that the Holy Spirit is The Comforter. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit back to us to be our Helper. This is one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit.
*But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. [John 14:26]
I remember in 2006, I went through a difficult time during the lost of my mother. It was a time of many thoughts running through my mind in unbelief that my mom was actually gone. My Mom was one of my best friends. We did a lot of “girl” stuff together. We spent times of sitting up all night talking and sharing our secrets together. Those things Moms and daughters talk about. When my Mom passed, I spent more time in worship. It was my continual relationship with the Father that truly brought me through. God is faithful to keep us during times of difficulty. We have absolutely nothing to fear.
*Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
[Isaiah 41:10]
During this time of this virus that has swept the nation, don’t lose heart. God was faithful before and He will be faithful to us now. His promises still remain the same.
* Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
[Hebrews 13:8]
*Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;). [Hebrews 10:23]
So today, I wanted to encourage you to know that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
[Psalm 30:5]
Through the precious Holy Spirit. The scripture teaches us that the Holy Spirit is The Comforter. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit back to us to be our Helper. This is one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit.”
