What We Lose and Bind on Earth

…let us return!

Now, let us remain covenant keepers and bondage breakers.

Pornography is one of the many sins that causes great division in marriage, but is forgivable and can be freed from. God didn’t give up on me or I wouldn’t be here sharing this today.

God doesn’t give up on us. So, how can we give up on our spouse when they fall short, or when they don’t please us. Can you honestly say you always please God and never fallen short in your covenant with God? No one can! We can’t give up on our spouse, because God doesn’t give up on us or our love is not considered Agape, unconditional love that we are called to.

Mine husband and I both experienced this painful, life killing demon at a time in our lives. And thanks and praise to God, we have been freed from.

I am led to share some of my testimony and experience on this, that was shortly after my previous divorce over a decade ago, which led me to rededicate myself to the LORD.

Going from married to divorced is no easy change. When a spouse is unwilling to stick by your side and honor their vows it is as death. I know the mourning and pain. And, now I trust through such heart wrenching experiences God has called me to encourage others to not break covenant in their marriage, no matter what.

God has called us to oneness with him and one spouse, not change spouses when we are displeased. But, to cover all sin with love with one spouse for life. Of course there is much Scripture on marriage and remarriage everyone can study for themselves, but to stay focused on this testimony and witness, we all fall short of the glory of God.

Knowing the truth that pornography is flat out adultery against God gave me the strength and determination to be free of it. So much so, I had a really hard time readjusting when God said I would marry again to live a ministry in a Godly Covenant Marriage. First the fight with God, how can I remarry when I had been divorced. And, second of the renewing of my mind after remarriage, it was now okay for physical affection with mine husband.

It’s only images, I didn’t touch anyone, so it’s not cheating is a lie straight out of the pit of hell. It touches you, God and your spouse. It is adultery and there is no dancing around the truth to continue in such lie. It is a flaming arrow that will hit your spouse that you are made one with, called unto holiness. Marriage is to not burn with lusts, and Scripture encourages it is better to marry than to burn with such lust, but to enjoy the beauty of touch with the one you vowed to solely, not denying the other. Perfect cover in holiness.

Adultery will destroy your relationship with God, your spouse and if not repented of, will destroy your own soul. Is it truly worth it? No! And I pray this temptation to sin makes you just as sick as it did me to never even consider going there ever again.

It seems my life is always going from one extreme to the other and I learned everything is temporary and will change. And not only will situations change, we are being changed.

God does the convicting and change in us. When dealing with not only our own short comings but our spouse’s, we must trust in the LORD, and let patience do her perfect work in us. Because, he will complete the perfect work he started in us.

But, that with Christ these changes are for our good and protection under his perfect holy righteousness.

You are not alone in your struggles, even though our heart and flesh may fail us God is our portion forever. And, God will work all things, what is holy and unholy for our good. Truly, we are loved first and blessed beyond measure and do not deserve such grace to return to God; our First Love. This I testify. Pray, Study and Train! It’s not about us.
