WHEN GOD DOES IT

Jonelle Maxwell

Usually when we think about marriage our minds begin to wonder, who could make a great husband or wife that is already in our memory file cabinet. We start asking questions, such as, “Could it be someone from my past, a ministry colleague, a business partner, my single next door neighbor, or the nice single man at the grocery store?

Whoever it is, God will bring it all together.

Over the years, I have watched so may believers doing the match making on their own and making a mess out of things.

In my own life, I can count numerous of times someone was trying to marry me off with some single preacher man. I am glad they ended up getting married because there was absolutely no attraction on my part. Even at times, trying to find the right one for myself did not go well either. God wanted to bring the person in my life His way in His timing.

Sometimes we have to remember there may be things lurking n our own heart that need to done away with before we can even go down the path of courting. Courtship should not take long, however, there are things both individuals need to pay close attention to during the courting phase. During this time, it is also wise to have an anointed marriage counselor that will be able to discern what neither one of you are discerning. These times an be a little tricky because things are going to come up that you thought you got rid of a long time ago. It is very easy to say we are all good when we are alone.

I believe God is bringing couples together in this hour that will bring glory unto His name. And He is doing it HIS WAY!

So, remember WHEN GOD DOES IT, it will be well and you will not be disappointed.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord.”

Proverbs 18:22 KJV

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning, made them male and female, and said for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God had joined together, let no man seperate.

Matthew 19:4-6
